I've discovered World Wide Freelance is a good place to find markets.
Their free market listings have guidelines for 500 magazines.
Their Markets Plus listings offer 1,700 magazine markets for a $1.25 monthly fee.
I encourage you to check them out.

Writing for Magazines
Another way you can earn income as a freelance writer is by writing for magazines.
Some magazines have their guidelines posted on-line. Absolute Write is one good place to check for magazine guidelines.
The Writer's Market, which is published every fall contains thousands of submission guidelines for magazines. It also tells you exactly where to send your query and/or article and to whom you should address it. You can pick the Writer's Market up at any Barnes and Nobles, Borders, or on Amazon.
Later on this month I'll provide some information and resources on how to write query letters.
Until then, happy writing!
